A tough couple of days for Scott at Valencia for the final round of the British Talent Cup. It’s not really stopped raining and Scott struggled to find a decent set up for Qualifying and ended near the back of the grid. He continued to work with Dani, the rider coach and Santi, the suspension expert and made further changes prior to the race, which worked!

He got a good start and over the course of the race, moved forward to 6th and into the battle for the podium. Alas, his foot slipped off the foot peg onto the rear brake and he went down. Good progress though in difficult conditions. Well done to team mate Max Cook for taking the win and keeping the championship alive. Thank you to the team at the British Talent Cup and to Dorna for the images. Day two proved to be a much drier day.

The final race of 2018. A great ride from Scott, having started from the back of the grid and working his way past 8 riders on the first lap to catch the battle for the podium. He was rewarded with an invite to race in 2019.

Many thanks to all the staff in the British Talent Cup Team, particularly Ana, Eva, Dani, Santi and Joan for making this years championship a great success and we look forwards to seeing you all next year.

And congratulations to Rory Skinner, this years Champion and to Thomas and Max for pushing him all the way to the last race.
